Dear customers and interested parties,

The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) comes into force for all online retailers on August 12, 2026. It mandates separate registration for each EU country, the acquisition of packaging licenses, and compliance with reporting obligations. Retailers failing to complete full registration will be prohibited from shipping to certain countries or risk facing exorbitant fines.
Consequently, we are unfortunately forced to withdraw from trade within the EU; moving forward, we will only sell within Germany or to non-EU countries not subject to this regulation.
We sincerely hope that EU policymakers will reconsider this entire situation and recognize that these measures threaten to stifle EU internal trade through over-regulation.
Naturally, we are continuously exploring whether and how we might offer shipping to other countries under the new PPWR requirements. However, this assessment is complex and demands extensive legal knowledge to avoid falling foul of the new EU penalty provisions. For the time being, we are unfortunately unable to ship to EU member states, so all we can say is: goodbye for now—and hopefully, we will see you again soon!
